![]() The Birth of a Building
Deer Park Roofing performed a number of different services on this project. Our Design/Build staff worked closely with the general contractor, building owner, and the architect at this location. Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) were first installed by Deer Park Roofing. These panels serve as an insulated nail base for the roofing materials. Three thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) GenFlex membranes were installed on the low-slope areas of the building. The system is energy efficient and environmentally friendly. It consists of a white single-ply membrane that is heat welded to withstand extreme weather conditions. Roofing felt and Owens Corning Oakridge Pro 40 dimensional shingles were applied to the steep-slope roof areas. Lastly, a decorative metal coping was installed around the perimeter of the building.
